BY MOSES MATENGA FORMER Zanu PF Member of Parliament for Chivi South Killer Zivhu suspects foul play after his Mercedes Benz was burnt to ashes by unknown assailants. Zivhu was fired by the Zanu PF politburo last year after he called for dialogue between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa, a call some within his party felt was uncalled for. pic.twitter.com/GgvO4fjNSV - Hon Zivhu (@killerzivhu1) April 12, 2021 His home province of Masvingo recommended his expulsion from the party after he took to social media to push for a meeting between First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa and MDC-Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa’s wife Sithokozile. “Last night they came and burnt my white Mercedes Benz. Kill me if you want but know that no one will live forever,” he said. Last week, Zivhu claimed he had been involved in a road accident and was grateful to God for surviving the accident after unknown people loosened his vehicle’s wheel nuts on his way from his home province. I can’t say much for now, (I was) saved by God.” He later claimed someone had tampered with his wheels leading to the accident. Zivhu confirmed the mishap which reportedly happened while the car was parked early yesterday morning (around 0100hours) but didn’t give more details. Recently, he posted about the late former President Robert Mugabe saying: “Tell me guys, why did you hate Mugabe? Now that he is no longer there, why can’t you do what you always have wanted to do? Our problems as a nation are not caused by an individual but with us as a nation. We need a national reconciliation and dialogue as Zimbabweans,” Zivhu said.
