Political Activist and former PDP deputy head Kezel Jackson is being treated for head injuries after being involved in a vehicular accident in Aruba on Sunday.
Sources told Newsday that Jackson was being driven in a Jeep Wrangler when the incident occurred. She told sources that the driver was speeding despite her instructions to slow down.
He then crashed, head-on, into a vehicle driving in the opposite direction while trying to overtake another car.
Newsday was told that the impact was so hard that a toddler occupying the other vehicle was flung out of its window.
Jackson, however, was able to pull herself from the wreckage before the vehicle began to smoke.
She told sources that she passed out after escaping the wreckate. She woke up in the ambulance en route to hospital.
Sources told Newsday Jackson was in a stable condition with no serious injuries, but is still being monitored by medical staff.
