R&B singer-songwriter August Alsina is opening up about his past alleged relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith.
While Jada’s representative told Page Six that the allegations were “absolutely not true,” August insinuated that he fell in love with Jada.
Rumors swirled in 2019 that Jada and August were in a relationship after August dropped a cover of Kehlani‘s “Nunya” in which he hinted at an affair with Jada.
August explained that he lost “money, friendships [and] relationships” behind the rumors, sharing that he thinks “it’s because people don’t necessarily know the truth.
Jada was introduced to August in 2015 by her son Jaden Smith.
