Thomas Macias, 51, went to a barbecue last month near his community in Lake Elsinore, about 70 miles from Los Angeles.

Shortly after the party, he started feeling sick. On June 20, he posted a poignant message on Facebook to warn his loved ones about the risks of the virus, his family said.

\"I went out a couple of weeks ago ... because of my stupidity I put my mom and sisters and my family's health in jeopardy,\" he wrote. \"This has been a very painful experience. This is no joke. If you have to go out, wear a mask, and practice social distancing. ... Hopefully with God's help, I'll be able to survive this.\"

He never made it. He died a day after that post.

A friend attended the party while sick

Macias worked as a truck driver and suffered from diabetes, making him especially vulnerable to the virus. Doctors have said people with underlying conditions such as diabetes, chronic lung disease and asthma are at a higher risk.

Before the barbecue, he had barely gone out, his brother-in-law Gustavo Lopez told CNN. But he was incredibly social and was feeling isolated, and decided to visit his friends when the state lifted some restrictions, he added.

\"Everywhere he went he made friends instantly,\" Lopez said. \"He was missing his friends and missing his family. So as soon as they lifted some of the restrictions he felt free and he unfortunately went to this get-together to be with his friends and then this was the result.\"

A friend who was at the party reached out to Macias to say he had coronavirus, and he was aware of the diagnosis when he attended the gathering but didn't think he could infect anyone because he had no symptoms, Lopez said.

\"Our understanding is that a gentleman had called him and said 'hey I was at the party, I knew I was positive. I didn't tell anybody,'\" Lopez said. \"I think the gentleman was regretting not telling everybody, and he was calling people who were at the party to recommend they get tested.\"

Macias was upset but blamed himself for the error in judgment, even using his Facebook post to warn friends about the dangers of the virus. About a dozen people who attended the party tested positive, Lopez said.

Macias got tested on June 15, got his positive result June 18 and died June 21. The Riverside County Office of Vital Records confirmed that he died of coronavirus.

Riverside County has over 18,000 confirmed coronavirus cases and about 460 deaths. It has the second-highest number of cases in the state after Los Angeles County.

The President said he hadn't heard the criticism of his answer the last time he was asked the question, by Fox News' Sean Hannity, but said there was still \"more to do\" in his next term, again without naming any concrete policy goals.

\"We're going to make America great again. We're doing things that nobody could have done,\" the President told Sinclair's Eric Bolling, before listing achievements from his first term.

At one point, Trump said, \"We've got to bring back our manufacturing,\" before immediately claiming he already had, saying he had \"brought it back very big.\"

\"We're doing it -- whether it's trade, whether it's military -- all made in the USA. It's so important. Made in the USA. ... We've got to bring back our manufacturing, and I've brought it back very big,\" he said.

\"But we have to make our own pharmaceutical products, our own drugs, prescription drugs, we have to make our own things. ... So we have a lot of things we can do. We've done a lot, but we have a lot of things we can do.\"

During Trump's interview last week with Hannity, he made vague references to \"experience\" without listing policy items he hopes to see enacted or problems he'd like to resolve over the next four years should he be reelected in November.

The answer encapsulated what some of Trump's political advisers fear is an unfocused approach to reelection a little more than four months before ballots are cast. They hope he will begin using his platform to define rival Joe Biden and articulate his argument for being reelected.

In some ways, Trump's approach mimics the way he ran his first campaign, which few expected him to win. In that race, Trump ran on divisive rhetoric and a vague plan to \"Make America Great Again\" without laying out a clear governing agenda for a potential presidency. After taking office, Trump's agenda came into sharper focus, yet it often still appears ad hoc.

During the latest line of questioning about a potential second term, the President also said there was \"more to do\" on trade deals before going on to tout the \"incredible\" ones he's already made.

\"Our country will be so strong at the end of our first term. It's going to be great. It would have been phenomenal. We got hit with the plague. At the end of the second term it's going to be at a level that nobody will have ever seen, the country,\" Trump said.

CNN's Kevin Liptak contributed to this report.

Sudan has decided to normalize its relations with Israel under US mediation,

The normalization of relations between the 2 countries was announced Friday by the White House  in Washington.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described  this a \"tremendous turnaround,\"

\"What a tremendous turnaround! Today Khartoum says yes to peace with Israel, yes to the recognition of Israel and normalization with Israel,\" Netanyahu said in a statement in Hebrew transmitted.

Sudan thus becomes the third Arab country to announce since August the normalization of its relations with Israel, after the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, welcomed Mr. Netanyahu who had met earlier this year with Sudanese General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan in Uganda.

The normalization with Sudan is particularly symbolic. After the Six-Day War, which in 1967 saw Israel seize the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza, most Arab leaders met in Sudan to adopt the Khartoum Resolution known for its \"three no's\": no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with the Jewish state.
