Given CARICOM-led formation of the Constitution Reform Commission in 1999 (Chapter 1:14) brought about genuine results thus far on constitutional reform, even though five years earlier the Special Select Committee on Constitutional Reform was established in accordance with a Resolution of the National Assembly of December 1, 1994.
