Robert then decided to travel to the Bronx to meet with Kool Herc to learn something new.
He’s one of the D.J.s who are regarded as pioneers of hip-hop.
One of Mr Robert’s popular articles is the one titled “B-Beats Bombarding Bronx: Mobile D.J. Starts Something With Oldie R&B Disks,” which was published on July 1.
And not just that, Mr Robert watched over the growth and development of the hip-hop scene.
In 1979, he published another article titled “Jive Talking N.Y. D.J.s Rapping Away in Black Discos,” explaining what it takes to be a D.J.
Soon after publishing the article, the first spate of recorded rap singles was commercially released.
