Leshon Francis and Shatal Charles pulled out all the stops to win the gold medal in the Under-13 Mixed Doubles at the recently concluded Caribbean Under-11 and Under-13 Table Tennis Championships held in the Dominican Republic. In last year’s event, Francis and Charles lost at the Quarterfinals stage. However, in this year’s Quarterfinals, they beat Elizabel Croes and Fan Yui of Aruba 11-3, 11-4, 11-3. In the Semifinals, they beat Dominican Republic’s Dihanneris Cabrera and Jhoian Montas 13-11, 11 – 8, 11 – 2, and in the Finals another Dominican Republic pair Ivan Vila and Edwanny De La Cruz 11-4,
