Five individuals charged in connection with the discovery by police of illegal firearms and ammunition in Choiseul, were remanded in custody when they appeared before the court last week. The five, including a woman, were charged with unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition after officers executed two search warrants at Industry, Choiseul and at one location, seized three 9mm pistols, one black 6mm pistol, 117 rounds of ammunition and five magazines, one of which has a 35 round capacity.
