A fire destroyed a home in Barrackpore on December 1, leaving three people homeless.
Police reports say the fire started on an upper part of the house around 12.40 pm.
The three occupants of the house, two women and a child, were evacuated before the house was completely engulfed.
Fire officers from the Penal Fire Station responded and managed to contain the fire.
No one was injured.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
