Colin Kaepernick will soon release a children's picture book which will be based on experiences from his own life. The NFL veteran said the book, I Color Myself Different , is deeply personal to him. "I hope that it honors the courage and bravery of young people everywhere by encouraging them to live with authenticity and purpose,” the 33-year-old said in a press release on Thursday, according to The Los Angeles Times. “I’m excited for Kaepernick Publishing to be collaborating with Scholastic on books with Black and brown voices at the forefront.
