The ceremony on Wednesday morning honored all 2,983 of the lives lost during the attacks that took place on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C, as well as the individuals aboard Flight 93 in Stoystown, Pennsylvania, on that fateful day a little over two decades ago, CBS News reports.
