For the first time in just over six decades, Barbadians faced nature’s wrath as Hurricane Elsa struck the island Friday morning. Roofs were destroyed, trees were uprooted, power lines were strung across roads. But Bridgetown has endured, even with the wounds inflicted by 82 mph winds and heavy rains.
