The life of cultural icon Torrance Mohammed, 90, was celebrated through the styles of DADL Clothing, in a fashion show tribute to the late cultural icon at Mille Fleurs, Port of Spain, on Indian Arrival Day, last Monday.
The tribute, hosted by the Torrance Mohammed Foundation, took place a year after Mohammed’s death during a robbery on May 24, 2021. Derron Attz, the foundation’s chairman, is the founder of DADL and the producer of San Fernando Fashion Week.

In a Newsday interview on May 27, Attz said of Mohammed, “His legacy is as a national cultural icon, and he was a lover of Trinidad and Tobago, a true Trinbagonian.”
Attz’s elegantly casual outfits were mostly in pastel and earthy hues. Here are highlights.
