Pro road cyclist Teniel Campbell backed up her elite women's national time trial win on Saturday by capturing the division's road race title on Sunday.
The 24-year-old PSL cyclist completed the lengthy 102km course in two hours, 30.04 seconds (2:30.04). Her club mate Kanika Paul-Payne, the only rider in this category, held on to runner-up position.
In the elite men's road race, Evolution Cycling Academy's Tariq Woods was first to the finish line in 2:26.40. Pharmaco Revolution's Enrique De Comarmond earned silver while Heatwave's Kirston George took home bronze.
In the process, Woods also won the U23 division, with De Comarmond in second and The Braves' Adam Francis third.
Additionally, Breakaway's Benjamin Mouttet pedalled to victory in the junior men in 2:26.40. Hummingbirds International's Nkoro Samuel and Team DPS' Jared Mohammed rounded off the top three finishers respectively.
After her back-to-back national titles, Campbell left Trinidad to return to her European pro outfit Team BikeExchange.
Before she left on Sunday, Campbell posted to her Facebook page.
'Happy to be able to come home for National Championships and as a bonus spend a quick week with my family.
'Was an overwhelming first two days with lost luggage but I guess the family was happy for that as they were able to get more of me but unfortunately more the moody side due to this.
'Was looking forward to hurting the men this morning (road race) but unfortunately a really stupid mechanical prevented that.'
