Compton to Require Face Masks within City Limits; Warning Followed by a $500 Citation for Failing to Wear Face Masks and for Business Owners Failing to Follow to LA County Guidelines to Reduce the Spread of COVID-19 - Los Angeles Sentinel

In the continuous effort to keep Compton residents as safe and healthy as possible from the COVID-19 virus, the City issued an Emergency Service Order for Administrative Citations imposing fines to anyone within City limits failing to wear a face mask and business owners failing to comply with Los Angeles County shutdown orders and restrictions in accordance with the City’s local COVID-19 emergency order.
