TRINIDAD AND Tobago swimmer Dylan Carter missed out on a medal when he finished fourth in the men's 50-metre butterfly A final at the 2022 Mare Nostrum Series at the Centre de Natation Arlette Franco in Canet-en-Roussillon, France, on Sunday.
Carter finished in a time of 23.15 seconds, just behind third place finisher Szebasztian Szabo of Hungary who touched the wall in 23.14.
Brazilian Nicholas Santos won gold in 22.97 and Benjamin Proud of Great Britain took silver in 23.11.
Carter was the fastest swimmer in the qualifiers clocking 23.57.
