CANADIAN Minister of International Development Ahmed Hussen has said his country will provide CAD$1,000,000 (US$734,645) in aid Grenada and St Vincent, which were hit hard by Hurricane Beryl.
A release posted on the Instagram feed of the High Commission of Canada to Barbados on July 4 also said $200,000 from Canada's $8 million Targeted Support to the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) would be allocated to assist with CDEMA's immediate regional response."
The High Commission of Canada to Barbados said it will stay updated on the storm's progression and continue to work with key partners and response teams to help affected Caribbean people.
