Borel launches media services - Trinidad and Tobago Newsday

Michelle Borel Media Ltd (MBM) officially launched its media services at the company's office 53 Mucurapo Road, St James.

MBM will bw doing all things media from concept to execution and will also teach and offer support through courses and workshops in publishing, broadcasting, personal branding, marketing and public speaking, a media release said.

The launch was held under the patronage of Sharon Rowley, who together with Michelle Borel, cut the ribbon to officially open the business.

Also in attendance were Deputy Commissioner of Police Suzette Martin⁠, Rotary Club of Maraval assistant governor Giselle Holder, club president Kirwin Samuel, and director, club administration Roxanne Woodruffe-Jeffrey, Bishop Claude Cummings and his wife, Gemma, group marketing manager of Xtra Foods and director at TSTT Daniel Austin, and head of culture and communications at ANSA McAL group Sarah Inglefield, the release said.

Cummings did the opening prayer and Borel gave the official welcome. The release said she shared her three keys for progressive success in business which are: vision, belief, and a dose of "good bad mind." Borel also revealed that her grandfather, John Borel, was known as the godfather of St James having introduced the first business to the "city that never sleeps."

The release said MBM has already trained many successful students who are now leading marketing managers, Members of Parliament, councillors, senior superintendents, lawyers, doctors, dentists and other pillars of society.

"As we develop the learning and development arm of MBM, my goal is to remind my colleagues, friends and family that there is power within them to achieve, succeed and manifest ...and help them find the drive needed to live their dreams." Borel said in the release

MBM said it is available for micro events such as sip and paint, workshops, team building and meetings, as well as art and music exhibitions. Its office also offer a platform for various local artisans to promote and sell their products, the release said.

The feature address was delivered by Nathalie Martina Harris, managing director of Glorious Bodies Glorious Minds Day Spa and host for the evening was Desmond Lawrence of 1077 Music for Life.

Entertainment was also provided by singer/songwriter, Marie Carter.
