H-town’s finest and one of the world’s most celebrated music artists Beyoncé shared a word with the Class of 2020 that has everyone, including non-graduates, feeling inspired and hopeful about the future.
Introduced by former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama on Sunday, June 7, as one of the official commencement speakers in the four-hour “Dear Class of 2020” YouTube Original virtual graduation special, the singer implored people to remain true to themselves and to create the change they wish to see in a world roiled by inequality and racial injustice.
