THE EDITOR: BC Pires, an outstanding writer and creative, will be deeply missed. His untimely departure has left a painful void. Such a void is not esoteric. Undoubtedly his legacy is not silent but still speaks volumes and continues to echo resoundingly through the hearts and souls of those he inspired.
Pires was a master of words, effortlessly weaving narratives that captivated readers' imaginations. His unique writing style combined wit, humour and profound insights. Pires had a remarkable ability to connect with readers on a deeper emotional level.
His works were not only entertaining but also very thought-provoking. Pires fearlessly tackled complex social issues and challenged conventional wisdom with his sharp intellect. He used his platform as a writer to shed light on injustice and advocate for positive change in society.
Pires's impact extended beyond the pages of his columns. He inspired countless aspiring writers and creatives with his passion for storytelling and dedication to the craft.
Although Pires may no longer be physically present among us, his works will speak to future generations, and what a wonderful transference that would be.
