African American History Museum reopening Thursday - African American News Today - EIN News

The Springfield & Central Illinois African American History Museum will reopen Thursday after being shuttered by the COVID-19 pandemic health guidelines.The museum will be open Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. That schedule will continue through September, according to Nell Clay, president of the museum’s board of directors.Past exhibits at the museum, which is near the entrance of Oak Ridge Cemetery, have focused on early African-American
