THE EDITOR: I write to highlight a serious and ongoing issue affecting the residents of Eden Gardens Housing Development in Couva, which has regrettably persisted despite months of repeated complaints to WASA.
For the past five months the residents have been grappling with a consistently dirty and brown water supply. This water is undrinkable and unsuitable for washing clothes, causing significant inconvenience and raising serious health concerns.
Despite numerous calls and complaints made to WASA's customer service centre, there has been no effective action taken to address this problem. The water quality remains poor and the situation continues to affect the well-being of the community.
I urge your esteemed newsroom to bring attention to this pressing issue. The residents of Eden Gardens need immediate action and a solution from the responsible authorities to ensure that they have access to clean and safe water.
