Four people were arrested, and firearms and ammunition were seized by police officers during Operation Blue Line exercises in the Northern and South Western Divisions on Friday.
In a release, the police said between 6pm-9 pm, officers of the Northern Division executed a search warrant at a house in Phase 1, La Horquetta. During the search they found a Glock pistol loaded with ten rounds of ammunition.
Two suspects, ages 39 and 22, who were in the house were arrested.

In the South Western Division, in response to a report of a suspicious vehicle, officers stopped a Nissan AD wagon along the Southern Main Road, Oropouche around 10 pm. When the vehicle was searched, officers found and a sawed-off shotgun and one cartridge.
The two men, ages 39 and 30, of Siparia and South Oropouche, were arrested. Investigations are continuing.
