The start of 2020 has been an especially trying time for many black professionals.
Factors such as the global pandemic and its devastating impact on blacks, the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, and ongoing experiences with discrimination and antiblack racism in the workforce can contribute to racial battle fatigue (RBF), which has detrimental mental health implications for members of the black community.
