The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has ordered TD Bank and Navient to pay restitution to consumers and pay penalties for illegally tarnishing credit reports and illegally servicing student loans, while a recent survey shows that voters of all political affiliations support the CFPB's crack down on junk fees, discrimination, and other harmful actions from financial firms.
