US trains West African militaries as jihadi threat spreads | Africanews

Some 50 African and American troops start joint military exercises in Jacqueville, Ivory Coast, to raise awareness of terrorist threats in the region. Nearly 1,300 troops from 30 countries will participate in the Flintlock training, which is being conducted jointly with Ghana.
