TRINIDAD AND Tobago lost in both the Under-19 women’s and Under-21 men’s categories when the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) Under-19 and Under-21 Championships continued at the Southern Regional Indoor Sports Arena in Pleasantville, on Friday.
US Virgin Islands defeated TT 25-17, 25-10, 25-5 in the Under-19 women’s category.
The win moved US Virgin Islands into a two-way lead with debutants Martinique on five points. At the end of the four-team round-robin series, the top two teams will play for the gold medal and third and fourth will contest the bronze playoff.

On Thursday night, the TT Under-21 men’s team defeated US Virgin Islands 3-2.
TT won the contest 25-18, 21-25, 25-20, 10-25, 15-9.
The TT Under-21 men could not continue that winning form against Jamaica, on Friday.
Jamaica won in straight sets 25-21, 25-23 and 25-13.
