Stevie J. joined Blackout Tuesday in solidarity with the protests against social injustice and police brutality against Black people taking place across the globe, but his post went a little sideways when some fans piped up with questions about his recent abuse allegations against wife Faith Evans.
TMZ reports there were visible marks on Stevie’s face when police arrived and the R&B songstress was reportedly charged with felony domestic violence but bonded out the same day.
While the majority of Stevie’s fans were glad to see him participating in Blackout Tuesday, some curious followers couldn’t help but ask about the recent allegations.
A fourth fan defended Stevie, suggesting his fans focus on the larger matter at hand, writing, “Yall leave him alone about faith and grow tf up!!
“Today is also VOTING DAY in many states please encourage people to get out and VOTE as well”
Stevie J. and Faith Evans met in the ’90s, began dating in 2016, broke up briefly, and tied the knot in their Las Vegas, Nevada, hotel room in 2018.
