EUROPEAN-BASED Trinidad and Tobago pro road cyclist Teniel Campbell is one stage away from becoming the nation's first athlete to complete the Tour de France Femmes Avec Swift.
On Sunday, the Team Jayco Alula representative concludes the gruelling eight-stage road tour with a 22km time trial event.
Once completed, the TT endurance rider would have covered a massive combined total of 956km over the past eight days. She finished every stage.
On Saturday, Campbell finished the hilly 89.8km course - Col du Tourmalet - three hours and 17 minutes. She placed 80th out of 130 riders.
Dutch cyclists continued their dominance of the race with Demi Vollering (2:52.43) taking top honours on Saturday. Coming in second was Poland's Katarzyna Niewiadoma while Annemiel Van Vleuten was third.
