Telisa Yancy is the Vice President of Marketing for American Family Insurance. In this role, Yancy and her team spearheaded a re-positioning of the 85 year old company. Yancy earned a Silver Effie Award in 2013 for the effectiveness of her team’s marketing and communications efforts in the hyper-competitive consumer insurance industry. Yancy was elevated to the new role after successfully transforming the consumer marketing efforts of the company while serving as the Director of Advertising, Brand and Media. Ms. Yancy joined American Family Insurance in January of 2009 after a successful career in the automotive, retail, restaurant, media innovation and consulting industries.
Yancy is often called upon as a subject matter expert and thought leader on marketing, innovation strategy, emerging media and leadership in the connected age. She’s been a keynote speaker for the Association of National Advertisers, The Future of Media and the MipCom Conference in Cannes, France.
