Sandra A.J. Lawrence is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. She is responsible for the Hospital’s finance, accounting, managed care, admissions, medical records, billing, patient financial services, human resources, information services, integrated care solutions, government relations, occupational health, food services and other operations.

Prior to her employment with Children’s Mercy, Sandra served as CFO and SVP of Midwest Research Institute (MRI), VP of Administration for Gateway, Director of MRI’s Statistics and Economics Center for Regional Development, and President of Stern Brothers Investment Bank.

Lawrence received her MBA from Harvard Business School, concentrating in the areas of Finance and Real Estate; a Master’s in Architecture from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in Civil Engineering and Urban Design; and an A.B. from Vassar College with a major in Psychology and an emphasis in Statistics.
