Rising Adolescent Drug Overdoses: Addressing the DC Opioid Crisis

The Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE) announced a distribution of $1.3 million in grant funding to Sesame Workshop and the American Academy of Pediatrics to combat the youth opioid and overdose crisis in the District of Columbia, while local parents and drug recovery advocates emphasize the need for solutions specific to the dynamic of opioid abuse within the District.
