A residential building near Miami partially collapsed Thursday morning, killing at least one person, BNC reported. The over 10-story tall condo building in Surfside, FL, reportedly collapsed before 2 a.m. ET, a witness told CNN. Rescuers are conducting a search and rescue operation for other people possibly caught in the debris. They have managing to pull a boy out from the rubble. 'This is a horrific catastrophe. In the United States, buildings just don't fall down,' Surfside Mayor Charles W. Burkett said. This is a developing story.
