Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay - AALAS 2019 Nominee

Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay, who hosted the very first African-American Literary Awards Show, is hosting for the 4th time. In his day job, Rahsan-Rahsan serves as the Executive Vice President of Ad Sales and Marketing for TV One, where he has been for almost 8 years. Prior to going to TV One, he spent 8 years at Viacom Media Networks.

Outside of his career as an executive, Rahsan serves as the co-chair of the board of directors of The Brotherhood/Sister Sol, a Harlem based non-profit organization. Sometimes he even fancies himself a filmmaker, since he has produced two features and a few short films. He has also worked as an actor over the years, appearing in numerous independent films, several national commercials and all of the former New York based soap operas.

He resides in Brooklyn with his wife and 13-year old twin boys.
