Phase 2 Reopening - Black News Channel

By: Ashley Liotus/ BNC journalist New York City hit Phase 2 of the reopening plan on Monday. Retail stores are open with modified capacity, hair salons and barbershops unlocked the doors, and restaurants are able to seat diners for the first time in roughly three months. Restaurants are only allowed to seat diners outdoors while practicing social distancing between tables. While diners are eager to get out of their New York City apartments to enjoy their favorite food once again, many restaurant owners have mixed emotions. While most served take-out during the length of the pandemic, the bills never stopped []
