New York City hit Phase 2 of the reopening plan on Monday.
Retail stores are open with modified capacity, hair salons and barbershops unlocked the doors, and restaurants are able to seat diners for the first time in roughly three months.
Restaurants are only allowed to seat diners outdoors while practicing social distancing between tables.
While diners are eager to get out of their New York City apartments to enjoy their favorite food once again, many restaurant owners have mixed emotions.
Bringing in patrons in Phase 2 will help with some of the overhead, but with such limited seating for the time being, many are looking forward to a time when their restaurants can be full again.
