[Daily Trust] The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has earmarked Friday, October 1, 2021, for the launch of the guidelines for its Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) also known as the e-Naira project. The guidelines are in respect of the regulation, designing and issuing of the CBDC, which shall be legal tender when launched throughout the country.
