TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (AP) - Hurricane Iota battered Nicaragua with screeching winds and pounding surf yesterday, chasing tens of thousands of people from their homes along the same stretch of the Caribbean coast that was devastated by an equally powerful hurricane just two weeks ago.
