In compliance with a directive from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Naval Academy's Nimitz Library has removed approximately 400 books addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, including Maya Angelou’s 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.'
