By: Teddy Grant Mike Richards stepped down as the new host of Jeopardy! on Friday following controversy over past offensive comments, Variety reported.    Richards was selected as host of the gameshow nine days ago when details emerged of comments about women, Jews and other groups on a comedy podcast from eight years ago, The Randumb Show.    Sony Pictures TV, which produces the game show, confirmed that Richards would no longer host.
