Police are investigating the shooting of 38-year-old Gwen Boodhan, of Dow Village, California, after police found him slumped over in the driver's seat of his white wagon along Gloster Lodge Road, near Gonzales, on November 29.

The discovery was made by officers responding to reports of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area.

According to reports, around 11.40 pm, officers arrived at the scene to find Boodhan's vehicle with its engine still running.

Boodhan was found with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head.

Crime scene investigators recovered two spent shells from the area.

Boodhan was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital, but his condition has not been confirmed.

The police are asking the public for any information.

The investigation is ongoing.
