Lisa Harris Jones

Lisa Harris Jones is a Founding Member, Attorney at Law of Harris Jones & Malone LLC. Jones is the first and only African-American female in the State of Maryland to operate her own legal practice with a focus in lobbying, government relations and procurement at both the state and local levels. Jones is widely regarded as a lobbyist with the ability to effect real change in the legislative process, regardless of the size of her client or the perceived power of her opponent.

Jones received the Friend of Dyslexia Award for “Outstanding Dyslexia Advocacy” in 2016 and the YWCA Greater Baltimore’s Special Leader Award in 2012. In 2009, Jones received The Daily Record’s “Leadership in Law Award.” Jones was named one of the “50 Women to Watch” in 2013 by The Baltimore Sun.
