Legendary Motown Songwriter Lamont Dozier Dies At 81

On Tuesday, it was reported that Lamont Dozier of the legendary songwriting trio Holland-Dozier-Holland that embodied the sound that made the Motown Records label famous had passed away at the age of 81. No further details were given, but his passing was confirmed by his son on social media and the chairwoman of the Motown Museum in Detroit, Robin Terry.
