LeBron James, Maverick Carter to become Fenway Sports Group's first Black owners

By: Alyssa Wilson LeBron James and his business partner Maverick Carter will become part owners of the Boston Red Sox, according to USA TODAY Sports.  RELATED: LeBron James keeping his vaccine decision 'private'  The two became partners in Fenway Sports Group which owns the Boston Red Sox, Liverpool FC, Roush Fenway Racing, sports network NESN, Fenway Sports Management and FSG Real Estate.  The partial ownership of the Red Sox is pending approval by Major League Baseball.  According to The Boston Globe, James and Carter will be Fenway Sports Group's first Black partners.
