A lawsuit and temporary restraining order filed against the City of Dallas, Chief U. Renee Hall and the Dallas Police Department for crowd control tactics used during peaceful protests.
During the press conference, attorney Michelle Simpson Tuegel showed the type of rubber bullet used by the police in both incidents for crowd control.

Yesterday the Dallas police department had no comment on the lawsuit, and deferred all questions and comments to Dallas’ City Attorney’s Office.
Today, U.S. District Judge Sam Lindsay approved a consent decree for a 90-day ban to the Dallas Police Department using chemical agents like tear gas or mace and BIPs (blunt impact projectiles) like rubber bullets and beanbags on peaceful protesters.
