Foderingham is the executive director of non-profit arts, social change and cultural exchange organisation, CFAFF/For Common Good, and founder of East Trinidad's popular cultural space and social enterprise, East Yard – where he carries out his curatorial practice, the release said. He is a personal brand visioning coach for creative entrepreneurs and visual artist with a budding, socially-engaged art and coaching practice. He is also the designer of a clothingand accessories line, The I Am Experiment.

In the release he said, “I have chosen the moniker of art and social change advocate, which means that I am deeply committed to promoting and creating work that addresses pressing social issues and changes the way we see the world. For my own practice I am now using my visual art, writing, fashion and film to support other creatives around the world.”

Since his work is conceptualised as a creative mission with a social ethos at heart, a percentage of revenue from Foderingham’s art, books, fashion designs and films is being used to establish a fund to provide support to black, indigenous, (and) people of colour (BIPOC) creatives deemed most in need from select countries across the world. Those who need the support will be able to apply for small bursaries to support a particular creative venture.

Some of this revenue will also be reinvested into The I Am Experiment – allowing Foderingham to continue providing subsidised and in some instances free personal brand-visioning training to early and mid-career creative entrepreneurs.

The I Am Experiment workshops will next head to St Vincent and Washington, DC, later this year. It was recently awarded a Catapult Caribbean Arts Grant.

The fund will be managed by East Yard Enterprises and administered through CFAFF/For Common Good.

“I have become so accustomed to curating and promoting the work of others and have never showcased my own work to this extent. I am excited and feel blessed that I am not only able to share my work with the wider world but also use it to make a difference,” Foderingham said.
