Kenneth Cole Fragrances and Aloe Blacc Have Discovered the Next Bold Musical Talent

Kenneth Cole Fragrances proudly announces singer Brielle Marie as the winner of its “FIND YOUR BOLD” talent contest. Fusing the worlds of fragrance and the arts, the competition invited aspiring vocalists and producers to push boundaries in music-making and create their own “bold” statement.

Brielle Marie, who was selected by Grammy-nominated artist Aloe Blacc (whose vocals on Avicii’s 2014 hit song “Wake Me Up” are still making waves), will collaborate with Blacc and Indaba Music in a once-in-a-lifetime mentorship opportunity. Known for his work mentoring artists, Blacc will co-produce a new, original track with Brielle to be digitally released along with an accompanying music video on YouTube. Kenneth Cole Fragrances will also grant Marie $5,000 to further her artistic endeavors.

Selected for her outstanding submissions “Speak to My Soul” and “Superhero”, Marie is an emerging solo singer/songwriter/producer who has captivated audiences with her unique, airy vocal style. From singing in her local church choir to winning nationwide competitions for her singing and songwriting talents, she also gives back to her community by donating a percentage of the sales from her songs to charity and autism awareness. With her hauntingly beautiful singing voice and her tenacity, compassion, and boldness, Marie truly embodies the essence of the BLACK BOLD fragrance and reflects the charitable ethos of Kenneth Cole.

“We have always sought to instill and maintain a tradition of recognizing outstanding individuals who are driven to succeed as well as committed to making a difference through inspiring others. We hope this innovative program will engage and encourage the next generation of music industry talent to find their BOLD,” said Kenneth Cole, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc.

With Blacc’s commitment to the arts and nurturing talent, he is thrilled to collaborate with such an inspiring individual on the project. “On behalf of Kenneth Cole, Indaba Music, and myself, I want to thank each
