Johnson & Johnson Voluntarily Recalls Aerosol Sunscreen Products

Press Release:- The Ministry of Commerce, International Trade, Investment, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs informs the public that Johnson & Johnson recently issued a voluntary recall of five of its aerosol sunscreen products due to the discovery of trace amounts of benzene, a chemical linked to blood cancers such as leukaemia. The recall involves four Neutrogena sunscreen versions —  NEUTROGENA® Beach Defense® aerosol sunscreen, NEUTROGENA® Cool Dry Sport aerosol sunscreen, NEUTROGENA® Invisible Daily™ defense aerosol sunscreen, NEUTROGENA® Ultra Sheer® aerosol sunscreen, and AVEENO® Protect + Refresh aerosol sunscreen. Johnson & Johnson has stated that daily exposure to benzene in these aerosol sunscreen products at the levels detected
