Gwen McDonald

Ms. McDonald is responsible for leading a global human resources organization that focuses on worldwide workforce planning, talent management, total rewards, training and organizational development. Gwen also is a key steward of NetApp’s unique cultural values and principles, which have enabled the company to be consistently ranked as a Great Place to Work around the world by the Great Place to Work Institute.

Gwen has extensive experience in Human Resources. Prior to joining NetApp, she worked at 3Com Corporation for 14 years, serving in a variety of positions.

McDonald is on the board of California Strategic Human Resource Partnership (CSHRP), a partnership between Senior Human Resources Executives of leading California Companies. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC). The Executive Leadership Council is the nation’s premier leadership organization comprised of the most senior African American corporate executives in Fortune 500 companies.
