Gibbs, Ewatskiagain, maybe? - Trinidad and Tobago Newsday

THE EDITOR: So, our Prime Minister has gone to Canada asking for that country to help TT deal with its worsening crime problem.

Here’s an idea: maybe they could send back Dwayne Gibbs and Jack Ewatski, who were so unceremoniously booted out of this country when they were here.

Maybe then we could have some proper leadership of the police service, where we have unfortunately reverted to the old practice of appointing the longest standing constable, on the brink of retirement, as commissioner of police.
